Royksopp - Melody AM

Chill is the first word that comes to mind...
Every track on Melody AM has its own layer and level of chill...
Even the more up tempo or chaotic sounding tracks (like Royksopp's Night Out
or Poor Leno) have that "driving slowly in the city at night during a light rainstorm"
kinda feel.

Royksopp is yet another artist brought around by Astralwerks (Hoome of artist such
as Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Cassius, Basement Jaxx, etc). The duo's use
of relaxed samples and a just right use of their own and some borrowed vocals (Even
without massive musical prowess, the vocals on Remind Me are just plain cool).

Equal parts instrumental, classical, and electronic, this is another album that trips way
ambient. Makes great driving, background, or sleepy time music. Great for most occasions,
but those looking for anything heavy may wanna look elsewhere...

This CD also comes with a bonus disc with a few awesome, totally Euro'd out dance
remixes. The Ernest St. Laurent Moonfish Mix of Remind Me has one of the coolest
electro bass lines ever...

Personal Favorite Tracks:
